otter 2nd newsletter 2021

In 7 months today…

Newsletter #2 – OTTER – Race Info

In 7 months today, an animated throng of trail runners, quivering in anticipation, will be warming up on a thin fringe of land overwhelmed by the roar of the Indian Ocean. Endless sets of deep blue waves hurl themselves against the jagged rock shelf of the Tsitsikamma, sending spectacular flings of spray shooting skywards against the rising sun…The start to Otter African Trail Run presented by Emperor Asset Management is one of the most magnificent beginnings to an event anywhere and, as one of those fortunate enough to hold an entry, you will be amongst them. The question is; Will you be ready? Will you have done all you can to make sure you are in prime form to face up to one of the great endurance adventures of your life? Time is on your side, for now. Use it productively.
One of the optimum ways to spend the months ensuing is to follow the bespoke Otter Trail Training Plan created by our Otter winners Landie and Christiaan Greyling.

We are thrilled to announce Devil’s Peak as our OFFICIAL BEER PARTNER.
The LITE at the end of “The Grail of Trails”. Has anything ever tasted better And something not to missed: COMPETITION TIME! Devil’s Peak is giving away an ultimate trail running prize worth a total value of R10 250! for more details:

Emperor Asset Management nominated the Nature Valley Trust on the Easy Equities ‘Donate for Good’ program, so far, it has raised R29 950 towards the Nature Valley Trust. This donation will help maintain the pristine environment where the Otter Trail run finishes. We at the Otter African Trail Run believe that wilderness conservation is the most important philanthropic cause of our time. Thank you for this contribution.
